Extending the System Prompt

Prompting Henosia gives you the best overall result for what you ask. But perhaps you want the focus shifted slightly, towards better UX, sleeker visuals, or best-practice coding styles.

This is where role prompting comes in. You assign a role that the AI should try to fulfill when it works. For example:

You are an experienced UX designer, always doing your utmost to create an extraordinary user experience for every product you create. You make use of established UX laws and guidelines in your designs.

Put project-wide guidance in AGENTS.md

Add an AGENTS.md file at the top level of your project and write your guidance there. Henosia follows it in every task. The file lives with your code, so everyone on the project sees it, and other coding tools read it too. You can ask Henosia to create the file for you.

Anything in AGENTS.md should make sense for all your project prompts. For guidance that only applies to certain kinds of work, such as writing emails or designing forms, use an Agent Skill instead.

Custom Instructions

You can also write instructions under Custom Instructions in the chat settings. Choose the Settings button (the gear) at the top of the chat area. Henosia adds these instructions to every message in the project, but they aren't saved with your code.
