The agent supports AGENTS.md and Agent Skills.

Use AGENTS.md for conventions that should guide every task and Agent Skills for particular kinds of work. You can ask Henosia to create these files for you.

Project instructions with AGENTS.md

Add an AGENTS.md file at the top level of your project. It gives the agent project-wide guidance, so you don't need to repeat your conventions in each conversation.

The agent receives these instructions in every task, so keep them concise and focused on guidance that applies across your project. Put task-specific instructions in the conversation, and use Agent Skills for guidance needed only for certain kinds of work.

Agent Skills

A skill packages reusable instructions for a focused workflow. The agent discovers skills in your project's .agents/skills folder and uses them when the task needs them.

Each skill has its own folder containing a SKILL.md file.

Use the skill's description to explain both what it does and when the agent should use it. Include the situations or tasks that make it relevant, so the agent knows when to apply those instructions.

Skills can live in your project or be provided by specific Henosia features.

Keep them up to date

Up-to-date instructions make a big difference to what the agent builds. Treat AGENTS.md and your skills as part of your project and revise them as it changes:

• When you correct the agent on the same thing twice, add the rule to AGENTS.md.
• When a convention changes, such as a new color palette or a renamed page, update the instructions that mention it.
• Remove instructions that no longer apply. Outdated guidance steers the agent the wrong way.

You can ask Henosia to make these changes, for example: "Add to AGENTS.md that prices are always shown in euros."
